To recycle a used Hartmann & Forbes' window shade, please follow these three simple steps:
- Wrap window coverings in paper. For each package, any combination of length, width and height is acceptable as long as the length plus girth (entire distance around package, or double the sum of the height and width) does not exceed 108" (270 cm). The maximum weight allowed is 30 pounds. It is encouraged to pack as many shades together as will fit within these limitations. If shades or draperies are too long, we recommend cutting the length into more manageable pieces.
- Purchase a prepaid shipping label from www.hfshades.com/takeback/order.html or call 888-582-8780. The $50 per unit fee covers all costs associated with shipping used products to the Hartmann & Forbes' recycling vendor.
- After attaching the prepaid shipping label to the top of the box, deliver your packaged equipment to your local UPS drop-off for shipment.
