At Hartmann & Forbes, we believe that environmental responsibility extends beyond how raw materials are grown and harvested, or even how the window coverings are fabricated. Environmental responsibility includes how used shades are managed as well. To this end, we have worked feverishly to close the loop in our manufacturing process creating a program to collect used shades from consumers. We will recycle each component in the most environmentally friendly manner including turning organic materials into feedstock for future crops. We call it our Take-Back™ Initiative.
