We believe that every level of the supply chain shares responsibility in managing the environmental impact of the product at the end of its useful life. In this regard, we believe:
- The weaver and fabricator should have a system to dispose waste materials in an environmentally responsible manner, and additionally should provide consumers the opportunity to return window coverings at the end of their useful life for the company to recycle.
- The consumer should take the responsibility of selecting a disposal method for their window covering that does not adversely impact the environment.
- Compost generated from the recycling of our natural products should be used to fertilize future crops of natural materials whenever possible.
