Exquisite and stylish, it is a marriage of luxurious silk and linen textiles accented with a band of natural and gossamer-like handwoven materials.

Featuring 11 textiles from the ErtheWeave™ collection of hand tailored natural textiles and five hand spun jute weaves, METROSCAPE is designed so that the band of natural material inlaid within the shade or drapery softly filters natural light into the room, while the textile body maintains a veil of privacy.
"Designers tell us that they love the way natural light shines through our handwoven shades," noted Jones. "But because some of their clients live in metropolitan areas with neighbors only a few yards away, they often design using solid textile roman shades to create privacy. This inspired us to create a shade that would both allow in natural light and obscure anyone from looking into the window."
With the instant reaction to the beauty and elegance of the METROSCAPE roman shade during initial research and development, Hartmann & Forbes began developing pleated draperies and grommet draperies as alternative styles, as well as a line of coordinating pillows that harmonize the design of the window with the design of the room.
